Crash Reported At McCarran Airport In LV

Airport units are responding to a reported crash at McCarran Airport at this time (1954 hours). Units are using the ARFF channel. The incident appears to be off the field. More to follow as available.

It is in the area of Warm Springs and LV Blvd.

The incident is moving to Zone 3 Tac 5.

According to the LVMPD it is a small plane that has hit vehicles when it attempted to land.

LVMPD is on the scene for crowd control and two injures are reported as of now.

The plane is now missing one wing and it is a nice mess on the roadway just off McCarran Airport property.

It is just about over with but the FD has a small presence on the scene now and of course the LVMPD is there as several vehicles were hit by the aircraft and this means they have to do an accident report also. The FAA and NTSB will most likely be enroute. This type of operation keeps the crews at CCFD Station 13 and others on their toes.
