Victoria PD gone encrypted now. It's been offline for a while now and also on the Scan BC web site.

No surprise, I believe that site was being spammed to death and owner closed it as well. I'm not sure why he has not re-enabled it (I'm not versed in that) Have you been monitoring the new 700 MHz freqs ? I believe some comm's (Fire) are in the clear.

If I recall correctly from memory, the OP is a Maritimer and must listen via Live Feeds. Is there a feed for the new frequencies?

Does anyone monitor this system with DSD+ by chance? I can pick it up from down here in the Seattle area with my Diamond discone. I get the P25 voice channels fairly well.

Just curious because I see that DSD+ is giving a lot of OPCODE errors during decode... wasn't sure if that was due to my distance from the source or if DSD+ just didn't handling the system well.

Does anyone know who built the system? Motorola, Harris, etc?

I dont , my antenna not high enough relative to Victoria from where I live.
Moto has built AFAIK.

It’s a Motorola system. Either the old type 2 or the new P25.
