I was told by my brother & he said he was told by the electronics store in cordele
Where he heard that I don't know

My brother called & said he saw 5 or 6 cop cars run past his office on us 41 running emergency towards the west side of town then 2 or 3 mins an ambulance passed him going the same direction

I was hearing plenty of traffic on Thursday 1/4. Haven't tried listening since then.

Loud & clear communications from Cordele, GA. I monitor it 24/7. Nothing new is encrypted, yet.

I am down there about once a month and when I was there a couple of weeks ago everything was in the clear. I have been trying to get the database updated in my small amounts fo time down there since it is pretty old and there are a lot of TGs that haven't been discovered

I don't get up there but a couple times a year
I have an Old 396T I was going to send my brother that lives in Crisp but when he told me they were going to ENC I was holding off sending it.
I soppose I'll just send it anyway & if they Enc o well 😁

As of May 22, 2024 all Law enforcement in Crisp county Ga. is now Encrypted .
I was Told in the coming days/ weeks more channels will be switching to ENC.
As of today EMS is still in the clear. I can't tell if FD is ENC or not they don't run very many calls.

As of today, GPS post 30 is still in the Clear on the Crisp County System
