When I say that Troop D has the most territory to cover, i assume that since some of the towns are so unpopulated like Scotland, Sterling, Canterbury that they must have 1 trooper for like four towns.

You are right Adam, Troop D has a lot of area to cover as the majority of their towns run a Resident Trooper program or cover as local police.

Here is the lonk for the RS and CSP coverage towns: https://www.cga.ct.gov/2016/rpt/pdf/2016-R-0246.pdf

Southbury and Montville are two examples of towns with resident troopers, but it’s like only a formality, The towns run on total police.

Some resident trooper towns have such strong constable forces that CSP doesn’t have to be around. Colchester probably being one of the strongest in the state.

Colchester is the hub for fleet maintenance for the cars by the way. There must be like 100 cars packed into the state lot,
