Ok 2 questions for anyone in the DFW metroplex:

1. does anyone have any Freq info for the Alliance subdivision or Choctaw Subdivision through Denton TX

2. If you could choose 16 channels to listen to in the DFW metroplex, which ones would you pick and why? (programming up a radio with the 16)

fl9.com/ is a great local resource. He may have some info on his site.

Ken, who runs the page, is local to the DFW area and a photographer for some of the railroad companies.

160.650 AAR 36 = BNSF Fort Worth Sub Alliance Yard to Gainesville, TX

160.515 AAR 27 = UP Choctaw Sub Roanoke, TX to McAlester, OK

Chase is correct in that all the information is on my website at FL9.com

My apologies that I do not have time this evening to answer your question in detail!

I gather you're near/in Denton...146.92 the Denton Co RACES ham repeater is the place to monitor during severe weather.

I travel between Dallas and Denton, Denton during the week for school at UNT, Dallas on the weekends for work. I'm mostly interested in Trunked systems, federal, airband, and railband

Glad to be of help. Ask away with any of your railroad questions.

As far as Denton goes the website also lists Kansas City Southern and the "A" train.
