Dallas PD covert

I hope it's okay to ask this. I haven't received the patrol deployment covert for a long time on the 800 mhz Local Government system. Are they encrypted or maybe I'm not programming correctly? Thank you.

They are active on this system, however they also use Zello as silly as that sounds.

On both the regular UHF dispatch channels and the Dallas P25 talkgroups you'll occasionally hear them refer to it or will hear it in the background. One night I was listening to their P25 stuff and the covert unit gives the description of the vehicle he is in, after that another unit says to give that info over Zello and not the actual radio. I got a chuckle out of that. I'm thinking because Zello has the same TPT as the Motorola he probably thought he was talking on Zello.

He was not asking about the Dallas police dept normal patrol channels. He was asking about the deployment units which have been on the 800 analog city system for years.
