Dare P25 Issues...

So for the last several days i've been attempting to program my Pro-651 to the Dare County P25 system (Mostly Fire and EMS, yes I know law is encrypted). I used the online import using the Win500 software. When I listen to the system I will occasionally receive traffic and miss a lot. I have tried several different configurations of trunking tables, antennas, etc. No improvement. Anyone have any ideas or a Win500 codeplug I could try?

I assume you've only programmed the Simulcast site - correct?

I was in the area in October (and again in April) staying in a condo along the beach. Reception was difficult at best (probably alot of reinforcement in the building). My best reception was on the balcony using a RS 800 Mhz antenna.

Positioning of the radio for these simulcast signals is critical.

I'd remove Buxton and possibly consider removing all of the Simulcast site frequencies except the active control channel frequency (maybe keep only the listed primary and alternate control frequencies).

P25 800 / default should work...

If you want to try custom, you could try these:

0, 4095, 0, 851.00625, 6.25
4096, 8191, 4096, 762.00625, 6.25
8192, 12287, 8192, 851.0125, 12.5
12288, 16383, 12288, 762.00625, 12.5

Tables should be default if its a p25 system. The only time you should have to mess with tables is in a rebanded system. Correct me if I wrong guys
