Will you be putting in a full warning light system including multi colored L.E.D.'s, 6 strobes and tail light flashers? How about a full siren system?

I didn't think so.

Driving the exact same type of vehicle as most agencies and installing the same warning equipment isn't cool, it is impersonation.

Driving a Tahoe with tinted windows and some radio equipment is no different then 99% of us here on the Forum. Installing a push bumper is kind of bending the needle towards whacker a little bit. Installing a full warning system including strobes, L.E.Ds, tail light flashers and siren and you just bent the needle all the way over.

What else will it take for you to realize that what he is doing is wrong? Am I the only one who sees a problem with this?

Let me just say that I think it is very sad that you guys run people off like that. You guys know nothing about him or what he is about. He does not have to tell anyone here what profession he is in. I understand there are "wanabe's" out there, however he is not a wantabe and I think you guys owe him an appology. It is discusting that you guys have to stoop that low and just cannot compliment the ride.

I hope that one of the new feature that lindsay rolls out is to stop all the comments when someone posts a picture of their ride or their shack. You guys are something else.

Just for the record, I own a white tahoe, I will be having the windows tinted(for my eyes) and I will be putting a push bumber on it too.....all the antennas will be perminatly mounted and all the extras......what do you know about me? I suppose your going to call me a wacker too right? I have no desire to look like a cop, if in the process it does as long as I dont portray myself as a Law Enforcement Officer then really guys what is the problem? Is the problem you cant do it? Cant afford it? what? Come at someone with something better than oh I dont know him and I dont know what he does for a living but because he has lights on his ride he is definatly a wacker...

some of you guys make absolutly no sense. He is right, you guys are just playing child games, and that is why my ride will not show up on here. It will be a great install and setup when done, but you guys wont see it, because of the child games just like this. You guys really need to get a life.

I don't see why its anyones business what one does to their personal vehicle. If thats how he wanted to set it up thats his business. I am disappointed in the fact that members of RR would drive someone to un subscribing and erasing their pics.

Bottom line if you don't like what you see, shut the F$%& up and keep it to your self.

In addition, If you are that interested in critiquing motor vehicle radio and light setups, there are plenty of other sites you can use as an outlet. This member posted something he was proud of, if you didn't like it, you could have just skipped along to the next thread.

In my Uniden BR330t's manual, it mentions radioreference.com as a great place to get help and a great place to find frequency information. When us members go and degrade and insult new members like what happened here, do you honestly think that is bringing more members to this website? I really don't think so. I think it might actually scare some members away when they see this. I think we need to stop with this whole "whacker" thing and get a life. I'm sure most of you would agree that this website should be a place where we can all meet and discuss radio-related topics, not a place where people get insulted to the point where they unsubscribe. IMO, there have been WAY too many cases of this type of situation on radioreference. It would be nice if the people doing it would just grow up. 'nuff said...

The above is a perfect example of what I was talking about. It amazes me that people can't (or simply won't) accept the fact that the world doesn't revolve around themselves. This site is supposed to be a place where people can come for help and where they can expect friendly and willing people to helpt them. Not people who think they own the world and who think that they have the right to criticize others when all they try to due is contribute. I just don't get it, and I probably never will... :roll:

I'm getting sick and tired of this crap.

It's his car, let him do what he wants. No one needs to explain why or who they are based on what they have in their car.
