I know the old pagers aren't used anymore in Dauphin County for fire and EMS dispatch, but I was wondering if anyone had a list of the 2-tone frequencies that were used for these calls. I'm specifically interested in Derry Township (Hershey) Fire along with the old ALS and BLS tones. I've searched everywhere I could and although I've found them for Lancaster and several other counties in PA, I can't seem to find them for Dauphin County.

Thanks in advance...

Brian

Are the tones still broadcast over the air even though they don't use the pagers anymore?

If so, google Pano tuner for android or apple.

Thanks for the suggestion, but no, they aren't included anymore in dispatches.

dauphin co uses digital paging these days and each station has multiple capcodes.
Thanks for that. I was aware they had gone to digital paging a while back, but was hoping someone might still have a list of the old tone frequencies in their archives.

I used to have a bunch saved from my travels from the 90’s but not sure I have them anymore. I’ll have to dig around on the computer and see if I still have any.

I have audio files of all of the tones (alert and siren) in Dauphin County zone 2 which is the upper end of the county, but nothing south. Hershey is in zone 4. Maybe somebody from Company 48 has an old minitor II floating around that you can read the freqs off of. My company's old two tone setup was an A tone of 701 and the B tone was 540.7.

I don't have any lists but here's a video of what they sounded like for nostalgia sake
I forgot about that video. Slightly off topic but now that Adams has been unfortunately messing with their tones as well there’s a video of those online somewhere, too.

I still need to dig through my files to see if I have any old Dauphin stuff from my travels to/from Gettysburg over the years. I haven’t found any yet but I know I had some at one point.

Thanks for everyone's responses. I know this is going back a few years, so this kind of info isn't just laying around. I appreciate everyone's suggestions and willingness to dig through their archives. And thanks for the YouTube link! That was nice to hear. I haven't run calls in Dauphin County in 20 years now and I still miss the tones!

Thanks for the suggestion, I didn't think about cracking open a minitor and looking at the crystals. I'll try to reach out to someone in Hershey and see if someone still has one laying around.
