I still need help. Was in DC Friday and didn't get any fire/ems transmissions. I have tried both downloading from this web site directly into the pro-96 as well as entering everything manuelly.I also have entered all of the 800 freq. not just the control channels.I have all the talk groups that I want to hear listed also. I have all this in V folder 5 and bank 9. Where do I go from here? Also I have no problems with the PD they come in load and clear even here in northern Loudoun County. In different banks I have Loudoun,Fairfax,Fredrick Clark counties and they all work just fine. DC Fire I haven't ever been able to recieve enen in town.
Thanks for all the help
Jay

2 questions.

Do you have both DC trunked systems in the same bank? If so you need to treat them as 2 seperate systems (they are) and put each in a different bank.

Did you have another county stored in that bank before you entered the DC system? If so, did you change the base freq, offset, and step? If so you need to return them to their previous settings (look at another trunked bank where you didn't change them to get the original settings). I had the same problem when I deleted DCPD stuff to add Loudon county, I had changed the settings and forgot about it, I couldn't hear anything until changed them back. Hope this helps.

Hey -dc2wheel-........it seems to have worked, I up loaded your file to my win96, then
re-did my bro's 2096. I actually caught tail-end of a MPD transmission, so hopefully it worked.
I work in Chantilly, Va., gonna take it to work & see what haps...maybe being only 15 miles
away will make difference ? Take care & thank you, Robert.
