Deleting Scanlist on Uniden BCD996P2

I have somehow got News channels scanning and I would like to get rid of them. Can someone please tell me how to do that? Thank you!

Hi there Granny. Sounds like you may have entered the "service search" mode. Below are the applicable steps to take from the easier to read manual edited slightly by me to fit your situation:

To Edit a Service Search, press MENU. Scroll to 'Search for...' and press E/●. Scroll to 'Edit Service' and press E/●. Scroll to the service search you want to edit (News) and press E/●.

Scroll to Off and press E/● to save and exit.
