Download Site 001 which is the County simulcast (the tower is in Delray Beach on S Congress Ave right along I-95). They are alerted by the Locution system on TG 34352 (Tac 6a) and respond on Tg 34320 (Tac 5a). I would also add in Tacs 7a through 11a as they would be assigned to one of these in the event of a major incident. There are others as well, but that at a minumum.

Above is correct. Tac 5A is working channel except for structure fires---when they go to Tac7A. If you hear a call go out on 6A for a residential or commercial structure fire--go directly to 7A--even though the CAD says 5A is the working channel. If 7A is busy then check 8A. I live in West Palm Beach and have been following them since their switch.

Thanks--John--WA4VPY

No, for Boynton Beach you will have to enter their site, not the County Site 001, and download their talk groups as well. They also run digital, not analog. For the unincorporated areas of Boynton and Delray, TAC 4A is their response channel.

Delray Beach - clarification

Just to clarify (I work for PBCFR):

1) Palm Beach County Fire Rescue dispatches for the City of Delray Beach Fire Rescue on the talkgroups they mentioned (Tac 6A announce, Tac 5A response).

2) Structure Fires are on one of several talkgroups: Tac 7A, 8A, 9A, 10A and 11A. They usually start on 7A and if there is already an incident on that, then they move to 8A, etc.

3) City of Boynton Beach Fire Rescue is still dispatched by their PD on their own talkgroups.

4) The "suburban" (unincorporated) areas of Boynton Beach and Delray Beach are handled by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue with announcements on Tac 6A and responses on Tac 4A. (Mostly stations in Battalion 4).

My friend (FireRescueCapt) above is absolutely correct! And to add to this, the Delray Fire units are Station #s from 111-116 (example: Rescue-111 or Engine-114). Since it's been some months since this last posting I will update some of you...

Delray Fire is still dispatched by PBCFR on the channels listed above. Delray Police, tho, is still using their separate Digital system that Fire has migrated from (which is Site 004 on the County Trunked System page). Boynton Fire is upgrading their system to P25 as well as Boca Raton. Boynton Fire & Police are currently using Analog TalkGroups on the County Site 001 while their system is being upgraded, which is why you might hear new traffic on the higher TalkGroups in the 60,000+ range. But this is temporary and subject to change at a moments notice as this is just for testing purposes. The TalkGroup you hear BBPD on today might not be the same tomorrow.
