Desktop model

Is their a desktop model I could use for this app. I have PRO and use it on my computer’s and iPhone. Would like a table top model. NOT A SCANNER.

Are you talking about the dashboard where you can have like 6 playing at one time?

No idea if you need RR premium for it to work or not, but that's the only thing they have launched that would work as a "desktop model"

If that is correct. Like a desktop radio only it has WiFi.

I think he means the Home Patrol, but I don't think it's exactly what he thinks it is. Might be a misunderstanding, and he thinks it's an internet appliance.

I'm not sure what you are asking for. Would it be something similar to a Grace radio (internet radio)?

Yes Grace radio. Will it work with Broadcastify? Or is there anything else?

Buy a IPAD mini and a stand. Run the app on that with the feed you want. I do similar with a 6" android tablet. It will stop now and then and I just restart. I know what you want as I've been surprised no one has come out with a "wifi" scanner yet that would allow you to connect to a feed. I dont know if the Grace radio will allow that or not.

I've been surprised no one has come out with a "wifi" scanner yet that would allow you to connect to a feed.

That's what I originally thought the Uniden Home Patrol was, years ago. It even looks like a desktop satellite radio. I still don't consider it a 'real' scanner.

Just keep the tablet charged, then if your power goes out you may still be able to listen to the feed.

Dan: I use the Logitech Squeezebox as a desktop radio to listen to feeds. It has Wifi and does work with Broadcastify by installing a 3rd party app called Scanner Box. I have 6 separate feeds as presets. Just sharing...
