I am aware that DeWitt has went to P25 system. The police went to encryption so that a no go. My question is I haven't heard anything on the fire freqs, and EMS. So I am wondering if they have also went that route? I live in the county and recently got a SDS150. Is there anyway I can help figure out what they are talking on? I know I wont be able to do the police. I am new to having such a complex scanner, but I am willing to help as needed.

dewitt fire is still on 151.1675 that also covers dewitt ems and all other dewitt co fire departments. there supposedly setting up some more repeaters or what they call an interop between ems and outlying fire departments.
