That is a good list and all those frequencies are active. 172.0625 N100 is the Northwest Florida ICE repeater. It is tied together with 169.9125. It covers from Pensacola to Panama City.

Interesting I think I'll need to put the freq in for panama city see what I hear.

That database I shared has been kinda out dated since 2015 due to the owner being signal 7. So I think some frequencies have been moved around, non the less it’s still worth popping them in the old p25 radio to see what you hear.

I hate to be a Debbie Downer here but unfortunately all ICE repeater frequencies in Florida are strapped to encryption. However, I think that part the excitement of this hobby is discovering new information, whether encrypted or not.

Everything I’ve heard in Brevard County for CBP and ICE is P25 clear. A few encrypted on simplex for maybe tactical situations but that’s what I’ve been hearing. ICE uses the CBP repeaters from my understanding and has there own simplex Tac channels that are encrypted.

CBP has a VHF repeater system throughout Florida. ICE also has a VHF repeater system throughout Florida. These are separate systems that are not connected with one another. The Florida CBP system is designed in such a way that allows the end user to select either encrypted or clear transmissions. The Florida ICE system is designed with 100% strapped encryption in all of their repeater channels and most of their simplex channels as well. ICE users do indeed have access to the CBP system and while on that system, can select clear or encryption. So if you have heard ICE in the clear, it could only have been on the CBP system, but not on the ICE system.

Ok. So do CBP and ICE have statewide coverage on their systems kinda like SLERS? Or is it like only in select areas where they’ve set up stations and operations?

ICE is the same way in NJ and PA. Strapped encrypted on their own network. As in FL they have access to the CBP DNET frequencies where encryption is selectable.

So the NAC 100 VHF Multicast voted system is ICE, correct?

I believe both agencies have coverage in Hamilton County.

Would you or anyone else have the frequency for that area? That's where I grew up and I still have a home. I have never heard them in that area. When I was growing up there was an analog repeater in Lake City for CBP but that's been long gone. Maybe they replaced it with a P25 one.

I don't have that available but I would think that due to the close proximity to I-10, I'm sure they're pretty busy. A scan between 169.5125 and 173.9875 should yield some interesting results. The FL CBP system should conform to the new federal channel bandplan.

Are you aware of any in Georgia? I’m primarily in south and central GA.

I don't have the info, but I think GA CBP changed out all of their repeaters sometime in the past couple of years. AFAIK, most of their old DNETS have been replaced.

Yeah I’m aware of the new band plan for Federal. It’s more organized now. Anyways do you think they would have repeaters as far inland as Macon or Athens?

Vote-Scan, which explains the periodic pings folks hear with no real traffic occuring

I just can't say. I'm not familiar with that system. But it's not uncommon for them to have repeaters inland. Think Orlando, Atlanta, etc.

Thanks for your help. Do you know if the feds use their own towers or do they lease space off commercial towers?
