I'm confused, Landman. Isn't there someway this software allows you to just change a single talkgroup or change whatever you want with the talkgroups and then rewriting the scanner without losing any stored locked out I-Call IDs like ScanControl and WinScan 780 does? I don't understand what you were trying to do store and then reload and old configuration. How do you get the old configuration with the new revised talkgroup base? Thanks in advance for an explaination.

What happened was that you loaded the configuration into your scanner and then later manually locked out some I-Call ID's. When you edited something in the configuration or in the database and reloaded that into the scanner, the configuration you had saved did not contain the locked out ID's because you locked them out after you loaded the configuration to the scanner the first time.
What I am saying to do is to go ahead and lock out the I-Call ID's again while you are listening to the scanner. After you have them locked out, load the configuration from the scanner to the computer. Save this configuration in place of the old one in your computer and now the configuration saved on your computer will have the locked out ID's. If you edit systems in or add systems to your configuration then load them into your scanner you will also be loading the lockouts back into the scanner because you saved them earlier.
