That's not accurate, although the confusion is understandable given that Motorola didn't do such a hot job in making clear what
QA02811 - 9600 or 3600 Single System Trigger actually means.
The
QA02811 - 9600 or 3600 Single System Trigger option (present along with the
QA02751 - APX Lite Option) means that you can only have 9600
or 3600 systems in the codeplug, but not both. In other words, the radio lacks 3600/9600 interoperability.
You can, however, have more than one system of either type programmed. So yes, the description is a bit misleading in that it doesn't actually restrict you to just one physical trunked system. You can program two or more systems, as long as they are all of the same type.
Some other restrictions of the APX 6000Li are:
- No Infrastructure OTAR Capability
- No Delta T (IP67 Ships Standard)
- No Color Housing (Yellow/Green)
- No Multiple Encryption Algorithms not including ADP; such as AES and DES
- No 3600/9600 Interoperability Option
- No Enhanced Level 2 Option Available
