Diffrence and use for Zone 1A and Troop G on MSCommNet

I know that Troop G operates on Zone 1A on the MSCommNet system, I also know Troop G has a dedicated talkgroup on the system as well. I know that the Troop G talkgroup is dedicated to turnpike chat only. What is the diffrence between the two talkgroups in day to day use. Does the MTA have a link to the Maine State Police CAD system?

715 is mostly used to pass traffic to Pike HQ (who monitors TG 715), it's not just for chat/car to car. I'm not sure about the CAD system.

I typically monitor Troop G when on the Pike only. From my past experience I have heard Pike specific radio calls on that TG.
Would be curious to hear what other's have gotten and their practices.
