WHAT A CROCK OF S**T!!!

You pay extra for an extra piece of plastic that has 2 movies files on it. And then, they expire even after you extract them from the media! I was always under the assumption that once you extract the digital copy from the media, they are yours to play whenever you want. So, now, I've got two 25GB BD-R's full of expired Digital Copies! AAAARRRRGGGGHHH!!!!!

I have been able to get some of the licenses renewed from the studios. Still have a couple to try and get reset.

Once I get the licenses reset and reinput them into the already extracted Digital Copy, I've been using Daniusoft Video Converter Ultimate to remove the DRM and convert them to MP4. NOW I CAN PLAY THEM WHENEVER I WANT!!! Muhhh haaa haaaa. Screw you movie studios!!!!!

end of rant

Should have been in the rant section....

Apologies.....can someone please move?

You're complaining because you were unsuccessful at making (possible) illegal copies of something?

Nothing illegal about it. When I bought the movies (Blu-ray), they came with a Digital Copy version of the movie.

Daniusoft does an excellent job of converting to MP4. I'm SOL on a few, but, Disney has started giving you the DVD version when you buy the Blu-ray version. Excellent with a 4 year old and a DVD system in the van! So, I can just rip those off the DVD.

I DO love AnyDVD, just not the price ($90.00 for program and 1 year of free updates). I looked into buying it at one point, but, thought about it again before I purchased and decided against it.

BD-Rebuilder looks promising. Just wish you didn't need so many support apps to make it work. Maybe once it's in a stable release, you won't need the support apps? I like the all-in-one programs. I'm not big on installing a bunch of other codec-type programs to make another program work.

Thanks for the suggestions.
