When an agency or a city switches to digital transmisions would they also have to use all new frequencies?? I have the old frequencies for Harvard Univ PD, and I dont seem to be getting anything on my new digital scanner with that frequency.

Cities and towns typically have been staying on the same channel Pairs.

However Harvard is a Private College and would be restricted to Business Band. Also, having looked into Harvards licenses in the past. they had 75+ frequency assignments. Also much has been contracted out.

Also [please update your profile location] depending on where you are, you might not be close enough to hear them.

What Frequencies are you using currently.

Most of the Campus info from Massachusetts appears at ScanNewEngland

You also need to remember, the information is only as good as those who spend the time to contribute and
verify [Confirm] the information vs just making a list from FCC files.

yup
484.0875R P25 (partial encryption) seems to be the primary freq for Harvard University Police these days. 484.0625R is their mtnce guys. 451.025R is their electricians. 463.85R has (some of) their security guards. 464.775R apparently is the Business School in Allston. I have not checked 484.2625 in a while. Peter sz
