Digital Migration

Do you think everyone evetually will migrate to digital technology? Such as TV's, Cell Phones.. etc. I'm meaning Two Way Radio Technology of course...

I think more people will migrate to digital as time goes on. Eventually is very broad. It may not be in our lifetime when everyone is using digital transmissions.

TV one way not two way. Many TV stations are switched over to digital. You need an HDTV to receive the signal though.

Cell phones are already digital. There are not too many places left that are still analog.

The trend is moving towards all digital. One of the biggest things going for digital is that is allows for more efficient use of precious spectrum space.

We're seeing it happen here in the Tulsa, OK area right now on the local Trunked Radio Site, kinda sad

yup, everything will be digital............until an EMP, then it'll just be pretty silicon wafers with chips on them....
