I have the settings on my voltage thresholds on PSREdit set up as follows:
440
430
420
400
But when uploading a file to the scanner it reverts to:
494
483
472
449
If I load a file from a V folder that I have set to the original settings there's no problem, the first set of settings come through the way I want it too. It only happens when uploading a file from the software (that I have put the first set of settings into on the voltage thresholds box). Anybody have any Ideas? Mikey? Oh, forgot to mention I'm using a PSR 500 with the battery type set to NIMH, which is not changed by this process. Thanks in advance TT

PSREdit500 shows the value in voltage, the scanner shows the value in units that the scanner uses. They aren't the same.

So in other words there is no correlation between the two? Or is the scanner translating the software's voltage values into it's own language so that 494 = 4.40? I wonder what units the scanner is using then.

Basically, yes, the software is translating the values the scanner uses into voltages, which is more meaningful to most people.

Strange they would come up with their own set of values rather than just using voltages, don't you think?
I wonder what their rationale was for that.

Aha, well then there it is. Thank you for the clarification and the software, nice piece of work. TT.
