Update. I was able to resolve this issue by using another router. Temporarily, I'm using double NAT to isolate the mesh router system I've been using for several years. Many devices on the network so it was easier and less expensive to do it this way until I need to change the mesh routers at a later time (there are four). With the scanner on a different router and subnet, there are no disconnects and the audio works perfectly. Tried several reboots of both the PC and scanner and there are no issues. Thank you Bob and others for your suggestions. This was not easy to troubleshoot and I thought for sure it was a scanner or fw problem after all of the ProScan troubleshooting. There's still no obvious reason this occurred but it's fixed.
