Discriminator tap

Does anyone know where I can find someone in the nova scotia area that is able to install a discriminatory tap on a radio Shack pro 164 Scanner? The how to steps online are great, but I have zero soldering ability and am unwilling to try when it looks like such a small pad on the board! Any advice or anyone able to do this sort of thing? I'd be more than happy to provide the parts necessary.
