DMR & D-STAR all in one radio?......soon

Looks like Connect Systems is planning on releasing a single radio that will do both modes of digital.

Probably the CS700, if anything, as the radio mentioned in this topic is currently in development.

The radios on Amazon are over priced.

AND they, the CS700 are NOT D-STAR compatible.

As the interview states the dual mode radio is still in development.

Now that DOES look really groovy! I`ve been looking at getting into DMR in addition to DSTAR, but the radios out on the market now are ether too expensive, or not really what i`m looking for, this will be really nice. I say bring it!!! N9NRA

Sounds good; I will be mentioning the radio to the local radio club the next chance I get.

Also proves that anyone can build a DStar radio if they wish.

Which is something I've been saying for some time; it will be good to see it reach the market and hopefully it will encourage others to follow.
