DMR Hotspot

I know DMR is a little daunting at first. It was not designed for ham radio. But once you get used to it, it will make complete sense.

Are you aware that the hotspot won't transmit the activity of a talkgroup until you either key up on that talkgroup with your radio or activate it in the GUI?

I know about that with other TG's but I was wondering why the Echotest wasn't "echoing" I set it to private and it worked.
How do you activate in the GUI?

I've never done it but I believe if you log in to the Openspot, select the Connectors tab and under "autoconnect" you can have your Openspot connect to a specific talkgroup upon startup. It wasn't exactly as I recalled.

If you key up on a Group Call talk group (such as 3100/Nationwide for Brandmeister) you should hear activity if you wait for a while. You should also see the activity under the Status tab.
