DMR/NXDN Encryption Question

If a business or school or organization are using DMR or NXDN, can they use encryption given the fact they have the FCC licensee? Or is that something that needs to be approved by the FCC per the application?

The FCC doesn’t care. Neither encrypted nor clear are reflected on the license.
