For several months now, I've been wanting to listen to trunked systems, good scans, and other systems with my RTL-SDR, but DSD+ isn't enough for what I want.

Do you think/recommend that DSD FastLane is worth it for what I want or not?
In case you're wondering, I've already used DSD-FME and didn't like it.

I look forward to your response.

SDRTrunk is another alternative if you're looking for one

Why not reply back with specific system(s) you're looking to monitor?

I'm here a lot
Looking at your previous posting history, I see that you reside in the county of Chile. Spending $25 US for lifetime updates is a lot cheaper than looking at expensive scanners or VHF radios to find out that things you want to monitor are encrypted.

I recommend it! I've been using it for about 4 years now, and am constantly kicking myself for not getting into it sooner. I am able to monitor one site with one RTL dongle, and have been able to discover so much more. The program runs in the background on my computer 24/7 and I check in on recordings daily. One thing is I have no idea what monitoring situation is like, everything could be encrypted, so i would make an effort to find out.

Dsd+ fast lane is a good option , that s working pretty well on many encoding systems , they are efficient on support.

If you have been using the free/public version of DSDPlus, you'll find that Fastlane is vastly different and much more capable. For the relative cheap price, it's well worth it for anyone using SDRs.

As with everything in amateur radio, it will depend on usage and personal preference. Let me share my point of view.

Over 90% of my SDR use is for monitoring a specific public system:
Non-trunked P25. It has 12 repeaters covering/retransmitting across 4 zones.

I tried using SDRTrunk, but had issues, it would not play certain transmissions, even with the PPM properly adjusted.
Unitrunker was not a good experience either.

On the other hand, DSD+ Fastlane performed very well. I leave it scanning one repeater from each region, always the one with the best signal, and stop the scanner whenever there’s a transmission I want to listen to.
I also managed to build a panel that allows me to control it remotely from my phone.

Therefore, I definitely recommend Fastlane.
