You can't start out at the top of the ladder!!!!! (of course, there is a few exceptions) :)

Caleb, you missed my point...there is no more top of the ladder...the profession is dead. I spent ten years at the regional level before getting past it(many people spend much more) and, unfortunately, anyone entering the industry now will probably not progress past that level till well into their 40's or later due to the industry cycle. I Dont want to hijack the thread so if you had any further questions about the reality of the industry at all levels, feel free to send me a message

KMA371,
Thanks for letting me know. but due to the forum software on this site. I can't go back to edit that post.
Next time let me know via PM within two hours so I can fix the error. It's little late letting me know now. :p

but you can go back and edit your info above and add more new skywest callsigns from your area to that post.

Already reported in post #1

Well, let's not let it happen! This is where us amateur guys can get a bad name for being tattlers! Just lay low and don't let the media hear!

Kinda just better to keep it between us all :)

Of course, nobody who is connected officially with the FAA, the FCC, any airline, or the news media ever reads anything that is posted to the RR Forums, so discussing these callsigns here is perfectly safe.

LOL

Good point! Just not something to send to CNN or Fox News! Boy we'd get a name for that... :D Let it humor us, and not turn into a huge controversy (you know how the media is). Besides, were the only ones who get the hidden humor anyways....

With over 2000 hits on this thread, I'd put money on a memo coming down from management at Skywest about this.

Looks like there is an Atlantic Southeast pilot getting creative.
5986MEOW
6120F UCK
and today NASA

Also noticing a lot of these Atlantic Southeast flights adding AC and ACEY to their flight IDs now. Only problem is that they should be using ASQ

Yep.

Some ACARS callsigns are different than the ICAO callsign abbreviation. Why? Must be something with ARINC. I'm not sure of Acey's.

Anyone have a list of these (ACARS calls, not ICAO)? I forgot where I found them.

The three-letter codes are ICAO and are rarely seen on ACARS. The two-letter codes are IATA.

I compiled a crossover list for one of the ACARS programs that I have used. Maybe I should put it into the Wiki - is there a list there already?
