Long beach island PD just did a pager test for all of the islands EMS and fire. They never do this. Then after a confused first aid recall i heard the mayor of beach haven talking with squad members about how this kind of stuff wont happan in a few weeks b/c long beach will be taking care of things. Does anyone know anything about this?

Who was recalling the first aid squad, county or LBT PD ? Maybe what the mayor meant was that LBT PD is taking over all FD and EMS dispatching. Just a thought.

I do belive thats what she ment, shes a capt on the squad so shes always on t he radio, but i thgouht it was odd that LB was taking over for the whole island and was wondering if any one had heard anything about it.
