Hi All: I have started listening to D.C. Fire Dispatch. I wonder if someone could help me W/ the Radio ID"s ie 151, 161 etc to match the agencies ? Thx's ahead of time.

Occaisonally you will hear a 13x unit which is West Douglas Fire Department.

You'll also hear Mountain Communities Fire, who's district is largely in Teller County, yet they are dispatched by Douglas. They use 440-449

Interesting. I've never heard them and always wondered if they were dispatched on Douglas County I'll keep my ears open.

For those wondering - they cover the Westcreek Area in Douglas County and then down into Teller County
(Turkey Rock, Lutheran Valley Camp, etc).

Elizabeth/Elbert County is in the 200-299 series, and is dispatched from Castle Rock, though very few apparatus, usually private cars assigned a 200 series number. Eastern Elbert County has given mutual aid to as far east as Agate and Limon.

West Douglas is dispatched by Littleton I believe...Youll only hear them if they are doing mutual aid. Jackson 105 had a structure fire earlier this year and some of west douglas's engines are on the run cards for Jackson 105. Thats the only time Ive heard them on DC fire main. And Mountain communities Ive never heard dispatched through DC fire main although Ive heard them say back in service and stuff like that.

West Douglas is dispatched by MetCom actually. The Elbert numbers are as follows...

210-219 Simla / Big Sandy
220-229 Kiowa
230-239 Elbert
240-249 North Central
250-259 Rattlesnake
270-279 Elizabeth
290-299 Agate

As far as I know DC doesn't air calls for Mountain Communities but they do track their response and unit status.

Teller County airs calls for MC on 155.580 but I can't confirm that's MC only source of dispatch.

Last I heard one member of Mountain Communities FD get's paged or called by Teller County dispatch and he jumps in his pickup, picks up his brother next door, cousin just up the road and then a few others volunteers en route to the fire barn!

call volume = 18 per/year..
