Douglas County: I-25 at Surrey Ridge off-ramp both Engine and Medic 74 are stuck due to drifting, requesting additional units and a plow ASAP.

A BLIZZARD WARNING has been issued for Castle Rock and most areas south and southeast of C-470 in Douglas and Elbert Counties. Whiteout conditions are likely and travel is not advised.

AFTER A LULL IN THE STORM LATE THIS MORNING...SNOW AND WINDS WERE
ONCE AGAIN INTENSIFYING ACROSS THE FRONT RANGE AND PALMER DIVIDE
AREA. PERIODS OF HEAVY SNOW CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH THE REST OF
THE DAY...ESPECIALLY FROM PARK AND JEFFERSON COUNTIES EASTWARD
THROUGH DOUGLAS AND ELBERT COUNTIES. NORTH WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH
WILL GUST AS HIGH AS 40 MPH...PRODUCING WIDESPREAD BLIZZARD
CONDITIONS OVER DOUGLAS AND WESTERN ELBERT COUNTIES. A FEW PERIODS

Douglas County: Is a mess numerous accidents on C-470, NB US-85 closed near Sedalia and I-25 MM-184, MM-182, MM-180 and now MM-179. Castle Rock out of units requesting Action Care and South Metro to cover.
