Windows 11 ARM VM installed via fusion on macbook M4. Using RTL-SDR V4 dongle. FMP24 is the only thing giving me the "Missing rtlsdr_V4.dll". FMP works fine. Also fmp24 and dsd work fine with my nesdr smart dongle. RTL-SDR V4 dongle works under the same system with SDR++ and SDR#. The only issue here is the FMP24 and "missing rtlsdr_V4.dll". the V4.dll file is in the root of my dsd folder with everything else. Ive tried all the guides i can find to help here and nothing changes. Anyone have the same issue and find a fix? Any suggestions on things to try? Thanks in advance for any thought on this.

Yes. Tried Zadig 2.9 and also tried the suggestions for adding the arm drivers through windows. Same issue with the missing V4.dll. The rtr-sdr v4 works perfectly fine in SDR++ and sdr# on the same machine. Just issues with dsd.

This can be found in the DSDPlusBaseFiles.zip, downloadable through the DSDPlus program, Misc tab. Also available link is HERE.

Is the dll on rrl sdr.com the same exact dll as the one in the base files? OP stated the dll is in his DSDPlus root directory. Not sure which one he has, but if they are different, worth a shot.

@RaleighGuy, I have looked at the link provided and the only downloads I could find related is the driver link to the github. I have downloaded this before when trying to fix this. This zip contains the rtlsdr.dll but no rtlsdr_V4.dll. I did restore the rtlsdr_V4.dll from the zip file I received from dsd+ fastlane when I purchased the software. This did not fix the issue ether. Again to confirm the rtlsdr_V4.dll file is in the root of the dsd directory. When I remove the file I get a different error. If you do have a updated rtlsdr_V4.dll file that works with this set up could you post a link or the file here?
Thanks, Dan

This is the rtlsdr_v4 that's in my current dsd+ directory and i've never had any issues like that. You can download this and try but, it's likely the same one that you already have in your folder anyways so I don't know, Maybe try removing the rtlsdr drivers installed on your system and reinstall using zadig.

I'd suspect that the V4 DLL being loaded is the 64 bit version instead of the 32 bit version, or one of the DLL's dependencies is missing, probably some part of M$'s Visual C++ redistributable package.
