Attached are some screen grabs. This I think has been occurring since the implementation of being able to open FMP24 with serial number from dongles? It occures both with "-1" / "-2" etc as well as "-ixxxxxxxx".

If I close it all down and wait 5-10 secs, generally all is well 2nd or even 3rd attempt after.

Is this a bug with my v3 dongles (initialising RTL dongles / driver) or a bug in DSD+? This does and did not occur about 4 or so versions ago. For example, 2.212 works fine for me...

81356

I click ok and then...

81357

START FMP24 -i1 -_3 -o20001 -P0.0 -b-12.5 -g25.4 -a0 -s1 -fxxx.xxxxxx
START FMP24 -i2 -_3 -o20002 -P0.0 -b-12.5 -g25.4 -a0 -rv
START DSDPLUS -rc -fr -i20001
START DSDPLUS -rv -fr -i20002 -e -Pmp3 -o1M -O NUL

ps. This 'bug' still occurs with version 2.242...

Also, looks like I am using FMP24 2.63...

Thanks!

Do you see same error when you run command line for FMP24 separately?

I tested your batch start up here (with cheap blue RTLs) and did not see error.

Is there any other SDR programs running?

Got distracted. Max time for edit = 30 mins. So here is my response...

Issue occurs both with one and two dongles. I would have to test my setup on a different PC to eliminate my PC from the equation.

I suspect that I have a dodgy USB port on my PC... I have reports "Your USB device could perform faster" or something from windows, bottom right. Where is my hammer?!

you may have a "ghost" dongle which is an issue unless you get rid of it.

To check run rtl_test it will show what the s/w is seeing, if you have a bogus dongle as device 0 you will have problems.
