Hi everyone,
I'm running Cygwin64 terminal with DSD-FME build version AW 2025-168-g6ebe3ef. I trying to setup Realistic Pro-2004 scanner with a discriminator tap on a laptop running Windows 11. I started working on a batch file (see below) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

@Echo off
cd "C:\Users\YourUser\Downloads\dsd-fme-rc2a-win64"
dsd-fme.exe -i "Line In (Realtek High Definition Audio)" -o "Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)" -ft -mg
pause

dsd-fme\dsd-fme.exe -ft -mg -i /dev/dsp -o /dev/dsp -P -N 2> log.ans

That's a start. Place the batch file into the root directory of dsd-fme.

Remember, dsd-fme -h

ps. There is most likely a way to specify -i and -o device (0, 1, 2, 3... etc ?). I am not too sure how to do this.

Anyone else know ???

Yes. Don't enter anything for -i and -o. Use window's audio manager to configure input and output. Input should be "line in" or "microphone" and output should be "speakers", or whatever windows calls it. However, -ft is a moot point, since DSD-FME can't control the scanner.

Yea I wasn't too concerned in args. It takes a while to get things just right.

Interesting re. "window's audio manager". That makes a lot of sense.

Right click on your line in and set it to default.

Thanks Mr. KI4HYF. I do have a Ubuntu machine. The '-i /dev/dsp' is very Linux. I am a novice at Linux ! But this clears things up in my poor brain (with the windows version compiled from Linux).

Cheers.

ps. In dsd-fme, hit the 'ESC' key. Brings up menu.
