DSD+ Linux issues

I'm using Kali Linux, GQRX, DSDPlus, wine, and pulse audio. Following a blog I added a sinc to the code in PulseAudio. My problem is that when I run DSDPlus I get an error that there is no input. I have spent hours trying to figure this out but cannot. I'm hoping I can get some help. Thx.
