I am just not able to change the audio input device. I am using the following command [-i1M], but instead of a change to the correct audio input, I get : IMBE unvoiced audio set to 40

I am sure this is one of the typical newbie questions, but I am a bit lost and ask for help.

-i1M is not a valid input. Try using -i1.

Actually, according to the DSDPlus.txt it is:

Code:
-i<spec> Input audio device (1-255) and channel (M/L/R) [-i1M] [M = Mono]

@Zebra1948

Don't use the brackets "[" or "]"

So
Code:
DSDPlus -i1M

Thanks for Your fast responses. I am still struggling. When i open DSDPlus I see 4 windows:
DSD+ Source Audio
DSD+ Event Log
DSD+ Channel Activity
DSP+ P....... (this window is also showing the audio input/output devices.) When i want to change the audio input device to e. g. #'2 and I input "-i2" only the command line option changes.

I Once again sorry for my (silly) newbie question.

DSDPlus/FMP(24) has lots of options, It might be better to explain to us what your trying to listen too.
Trunking or conventional and is it P25, DMR etc... and with what hardware.

Which version of DSDPlus are you using.
What is your input device. A scanner via discriminator tap using a line input to soundcard. A RTL dongle.

ok - here my feedback in brief:

I am using DSD+, 2.113 Fast Lane Release.
My SDRs are: Airspy HF+, Airspy R2 and RTL-SDR in conjunction with SDR# x86 rev 1672. Audio output in SDR# is VB Audio Virtual Cable, which is also listed in DSD+ command line window.
I would like to listen to DMR/D-Star

DSP+ P....... (this window is also showing the audio input/output devices.)
That is the console window.

When i want to change the audio input device to e. g. #'2 and I input "-i2" only the command line option changes.
That's because you're entering command line options when you're not at the command line. In your DSD+ folder, you should have a CC.bat file; use Notepad to edit it and add your -i2 to the DSD+ command line that's in that batch file. Save the changed file and then double click on it to run DSD+.

FMP24 and DSPlus are what is need here. You really don't need to used SDR#.

FMP is the tuner for your dongle
DSDPlus is the decoder for the digital signal, DMR/D-Star in your case.

FMP connects to DSDPlus via TCP

If trunking is what your after then you need to setup:

CC FMP (Set to control channel for call information)
CC DSDPlus (decodes CC call data to control voice channel)
VC FMP (Is directed to VC(frequency) by CC DSDPlus)
VC DSDPlus (Decode data from FMP VC to produce voice to be heard)

The Notes.txt (in the lastest DSDPlus) and "Trunking.txt" in DSDPlus v1.101.zip should get you going.

EDIT: Link to a post that shows the example of the 4 batch files needed

Note that if you are using the Airspy, then you should control it with FMPA.
