Actually, I mispoke. You have LSNs 311/312 that are clearly tied to 854.8625. And you know LSNs 397/398 are in use, but at this point you don't know what freq it is tied to. I presumed it would be 855.9375. But if you aren't hearing audio on 855.9375 when a voice call comes in, then I'm wrong about that and LSNs 397/398 are tied to some other frequency.

If you never end up copying voice on 855.9375, you should look on the Lasalle Co Sheriff license at the following freqs and see if any of them are transmitting DMR voice when you see a Group call or 181 active.

WPUK993 Lasalle Co
859.4375
859.9625
857.2375
860.4875

It's a pain to do. But if you are parked on 854.8625 and you see a voice call and it tunes to 855.9375 and you hear nothing, then LSNs 397/398 are probably one of the freqs above. And if that is the case, then whe you see Group Call voice actvity for TG 181 when monitoring 854.8625, hurry up in FMP24 and type 859.4375 and hit enter to see if you hear voice on 859.4375 (you can type it in ahead and hit <enter> when you see a voice call). THen switch back to 854.8625, wait again (typing in 859.9625 beforehand), and hit enter when you see voice traffic.

Eventually you will figure out the voice frequency, and when you do that will be 397/398 LSNs.

But, I haven't heard you say that you aren't hearing traffic, so maybe you are hearing traffic with the 854.8625 / 855.9375 freqs.
Okay I’ll have to do that when work gets quiet haha.

Do I have something wrong in the frequency file? I see a red error in the event

Yes, can you post what you have for L4-23 in your DSDPlus.frequencies file?

For L4-23 in DSDPlus.frequencies you should have:

TIIInonStd,4,23,311,854.8625,0,0
TIIInonStd,4,23,397,855.9375,0,0

I probably had a period where I should have had a comma before.

I had to put the L in before the 4

So when you start DSDPlus up now, you get no red lines?

And sorry about that -- in all the files reerencing that system, it should be L4 and not just 4. I know I gave instructions for just 4 and was wrong.

OK, well when you see 397 and 398 active you should be hearing voice or when you see talk group 181 active you should be hearing voice. Of course that’s as long as you’re in trunking mode.

When you run it, do you run FMP*-cc.exe abd 1r.bat ?

So you are using two dongles simultaneously? Ok cool. When you see TG 181 traffic showing up on the screen on the CC side, you should see the VC side switch to 855.9375 and should hear audio. I haven't run two dongles in a while, so if there are issues with configuration I probably won't be able to help. I usually use 1 dongle for all trunktracking as its easier to diagnose issues that way.

But as long as you are seeing CC data on the CC side and are seeing voice calls on the VC side you should be fine.

Please consider submitting that site to the database. Provide all the details.

Submit Here

1. System is a DMR Tier 3 Capacity Max system, not DMR Tier 3 Standard. Please update database
2. Please update systemID to L4 and not just 4.
3. Please add L4-23 Sheridan - a new site

L4-23 Sheridan (Lasalle Co)
WRHS692
4 Mi SSW of Sheridan

LSN 311 854.8625
LSN 312 854.8625
LSN 397 855.9875
LSN 398 855.9875

That should cover it. Nice job!

You're welcome. Sounds like a plan, if you get a good signal on that one.
The CC ch is still a question mark. But CC 859.8875 populated the ch's right away. i believe the 2 freq below are tied to those channels as i was monitoring traffic on the audio spectrum. Ill let it run throughout the night to see where the CC lanes on the ch.

TIIInonStd CC 859.88750 Site L4-7 DCC 7
ch 367
ch 368
ch 793
ch 794

860.8875=794
860.8625=368

That one might be trickier, since I see no single license that has all three (or even two) of those frequencies on it. Kewanee (WPLY585) and Bradley (WPRG707) have two of those three. And the WPPA251 license (Clear Talk) has two of those freqs but was cancelled in 9/24.

Are you sure those 860.8625 and 860.8875 freqs are showing as LR-7 voice freqs?

You might have your work cut out for that one.

I downloaded those screenshots and enlarged them heh. Seem to be from the same frequency. Is that intended?

I had questioned whether you were sure that the other two frequencies that you listed (860 freqs) were part of L4-7.

I don' t know if you did or not, but I know I didn't post it. You might want to add to your previosu submission the neighbor list (NL) from the bottom of the Activity Window when monitoring L4-23. Always good to have that in the DB as well.

i believe so. 860.8875 is a voice channel in the DB under utica cap+ system but seems to be being used with this "new" system

How did you determine 860.8625 = 368 and 860.8875 = 794 ? Do you have them in your DSDPlus.Frequencies file like that and they trunk track and produce voice? I only ask because if you ran across some sort of online calculator to calculate LCNs/LSNs, I doubt it's going to be correct for these sites.

No, Not in the freq file yet i was just watching the wave spectrum and the cc window box where the talk group was coming across. Maybe that the wrong way to determine them. I'm still a novice at this hahahah
