DSDPlus and SDR Sharp; No Audio Whatsoever

Hello,

If this topic has been posted already, I apologize. I'm pretty frustrated trying to set up DSDPlus to use with SDR Sharp. I already downloaded and installed the VB-Audio Virtual Cable to pipe the audio. It has also been set as the default recording device.

When I have SDR Sharp on an active P25 freq, it seems to be decoding, but I do not hear any audio. I'm using a Nooelec NESDR and signal strength is not an issue as I am getting a strong signal from a freq that is used by my local fire dept. In SDR Sharp, I did set the audio output to "[Windows DirectSound] CABLE Input".

But still, no audio. What's the issue?

It shows it decoding P25 Phase 1. I'll attach a pic of what I get.

Looks like you shouldn't even have VB Cable installed. You have no need for it that I can see.

You did something to set DSD+'s output to device #2. I assume you did it with the SDR# DSD+ plugin. You should be setting it to device #1.

Right...HOW do I change that?

You need to add -o1 to your DSD+ command line.

Don't the plugins you're using have settings that you can change? I'm not familiar with them, so I can't give you specifics.

OK, so after some more tinkering, I was able to change the output to my speakers via the command line. I'm now able to decode AND hear the P25 freq, as well as the DMR and NXDN systems in my area. Thanks so much!
