DSDPlus Fastlane Program link dead?

The FMPP program is used with SDRPlay RSP2s. Your RSP2 serial number(s) should be added
to the FMPP.cfg file.


Single-dongle monitoring:

To use a single device, run the 1R.bat file to start DSD+,
then run the ORIGINAL, UNMODIFIED appropriate batch file for your device:

SDRPLay: FMPP-CC.bat

DSD+ and the FMPx SDR software (FMP24, FMPA or FMPP) should start talking to each other
and raw demodulated audio waveforms should be displayed in DSD+'s Source Audio window.

Tune your SDR by left-clicking in the FMPx RF spectrum window or by using the left/right
cursor keys or by directly typing in a radio frequency (in MHz) and pressing Enter.

If FMPx is tuned to a P25 control channel, DSD+ will automatically start trunk tracking
and decoding unencrypted Phase I and Phase II voice traffic.

I'm running an RSP1A. I've added the SN to FMPP.cfg as you suggested. I am attempting single SDR monitoring. I ran 1R.bat the wave form window opens, I changed freq to 478Mhz and BW to 12.5 . The 1R event log window now states

"FMPx link established"

In place of the error previously received. However, I never get the DSD+ source audio window I've seen in the past. I only have the FMPP one. I feel I'm getting closer. And I thank you for it.

Added support for RSP1.
Enter RSP1 device serial number (0000000001) in first line of FMPP.cfg file.
Use j/J and k/K to adjust RSP1 LNA and IF gains.
If USB connection to an SDRPlay device is lost while FMPP is running,
SDRPlay API Service may stop; exit FMPP, restart SDRPlay API Service, restart FMPP.

I had to reinstall everything to get the DSD+ 1R source audio window again ( weird ). So.. current status:

FMPP CC specturm shows: 478+250Hz step 6.25 BW: 12.5 (LNA:3 IF:30db)
FMPP show: In: 1 Out: 20001 vol: 100 mFM F:478.00000
1R DSD+ shows: FMPx link established
DSD+ 1R event log shows: FMPx link established
DSD+ 1R current groups is empty ( not yet populated )
DSD+ 1R all current radios screen is also blank ( not yet populated.
DSD+ 1R source audio shows a wave form !!!!!!!!! YAY!!!! ( spilled my coffee ). No I'm waiting for traffic.

All,

Data is pouring in now. Sites, groups, channel activity, etc. are all populating. And I'm receiving sporadic decode. I believe this will improve as data is collected. I can't thank you all enough. I wanted this badly and was SO frustrated. Now it's working and I couldn't be more happy. I will absolutely pay this forward at every opportunity.

If you weren't decoding audio with FMPP+DSDPlus, I'm not sure how you would be if you were running SDRUno --> VB Cable --> DSDPlus, since you would not be trunking with that setup -- you would only be parked on the control channel (which wouldn't have voice traffic).

Anyway, it oughta work. But I've never used an RSP so maybe there is something different to do with FMPP vs FMPA or FMP24.

Not sure if this was resolved, but many of the features of DSD+ are controlled by the menu bar at the top of the Event Log window. In this case, Window → Source Audio → Source Audio Window. Many features can be controlled with hotkeys that can be pressed while any of the DSD+ windows has focus (e.g. the Event Log window). The Source Audio window is toggled on/off by pressing the (lower-case) "s" key.

Yes it's resolved. And you are exactly right. It turns out I unintensionally deselected the option to show the window. Reinstalling must have reset it to the default and fixed the problem. Another learning mistake on my part. I didn't know about the "s" key window function. Thank you. I'm going to finish reading the notes now so I don't drive everyone crazy. I'm SOOOOO happy that it's now working perfectly. I was missing an incredible amount of transmissions from Morris County TRS using my Uniden BCD396XT. I mean for years. But not anymore.

2. Purchased lifetime support for Fastlane
3. Received the files within an hour
4. Installed files - all with no issues, so Anti Virus, browser script blockers (I use uBlock Origin) can all cause broken links/missing downloads)
