Please forgive me if this is a repeat, I looked for a while and didn't find it.

I added my hotspot to the repeater list in menu 26 which I renamed 'Hotspots'. Works great.
However, I later updated (imported) a new repeater list from icom and it wiped out menu 26.
I checked the import file and there were no entries for anything above menu 23. Not a real big deal
I just had to re-enter it. But then I thought that maybe there might be a way to re-import the list from icom
without removing manually created entries that I don't know about.

Thank you in advance for any information.

The repeater list is replaced as a whole. I put my hotspot in location 1:1 and redo it if needed.

You can edit the list right on the radio, so making manual edits if your local repeaters change may be more convenient than replacing it every time.

fyi: dstarinfo.com has several tools for building repeater lists and memories based on your location.

Yep thats what it does, my 74 does it as well, when you upload an updated repeater list to the radio thats what you get, got to put back in the ones you added manually, i only add my openspot4 so no big deal here.

Thank you for the replies. I thought as much, and as I said originally, it is not a big deal to put them back in.
Just thought if there was something I was missing...
