Does any one know if the Durham County Sheriff's Office is operating on a trunk system or are they still on the UHF frequencies.

They are no longer on UHF as far as I can tell. I've scanned through all the 453.xxx frequencies & nothing. I also noticed at a city official's funeral I attended last week that the cars now have 800mhz radios & antennas although the old UHF stuff is in place too.

Over the past weekend while I was down there, I was picking them up on 453.900..pl 156.7...it seemed to be their main dispatch channel now.

Thanks for that info!!! I was HOPING they'd still be somewhere on UHF!
