Thanks for this information. What about the Uniden BCD996P2? I’ve been reading and people say it would work but not fully sure with the simlacast.

It's harder to program than an SDS100 / 200. Spend a little more, do it right the first time, and you will be thanking yourself you did it that way.

Speaking from experience, the BCD996P2 does not handle simulcast well. The only scanners specifically designed to receive simulcast sites are the SDS100 and SDS200.

The (Base)BCD996p2 is the 'bretheren' of the (Handheld)BCD325p2. Neither can do Simulcast.
