I am considering writing a remote control program for us Linux guys and would like to gauge interest. Would something like this help anyone here besides me?
This would be a free program, not written in java or C, probably something like gambas3 to allow for more inexperienced uses a chance to play around and contribute. Of course open source.
It would also not use hamlib as the DV1 is not supported, and their back-end isn't particularly user friendly or easy to implement.
Thoughts from the group?
