This isn't an image. My eyes are not that bad. I've been scanning for ages.
454.050 - some taxi service around East Liverpool/Wellsville OH / Chester WV area. 454.050 is typically a paging frequency. I don't see any licenses (other than paging services) in the FCC db or on RR. Looks like somebody is bootlegging some radios.
Interesting thing is that there _is_ a repeater involved. I have not determined the input, but I would guess it is going to be 5 Mhz higher at 459.050. No PL on it.
Can paging companies use these frequencies for commercial repeaters and such?
Interestingly - only one license in all of Ohio and it's nowhere near me. In WV it is licensed to AV Lauttamus with thier paging service, various places here in Ohio and across the river - http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseFreqSum.jsp?licKey=2451 - Specifically the 454.050 frequency is on a transmitter right across the river from me at Archer Heights. Again, the part that has me stumped is that they are supposed to be paging frequencies but this is actually a repeater. I'm going to guess this is run by AVL because I doubt otherwise that they would let some taxi cab company get away with using the freq where they are actively paging.
