We are on-scene at the 2026 EAA AirVenture.
Our mission (yes, we have chosen to accept it) is to capture some great photos and monitor the various radio system(s) that help make this event possible. In addition to the aviation air/air comms, we are trying to figure out the DMR systems.
Any help/suggestions are much appreciated.

You will find there is definitely no shortage of interesting systems and frequencies to monitor at EAA!

Not sure if you have seen this listing in the database, but you will likely find it useful:

Welcome to Oshkosh!

Fellow monitors / spotters are welcome to DM. I enjoy saying hello; comparing notes with others, and visiting various setups.

Anyone needing local assistance — perhaps you forgot an antenna adapter and don’t want to wait on Amazon:) — feel to reach out, as well. I’m on the grounds daily through the 27th.

Somebody needs to visit the avionics exhibitors and mention that according to some internet sources all ATC voice communications are moving to digital soon, and then ask when their new digital radios will be available.
