is it possible that ELFD went up on the State system yet? been monitoring the VHF repeater all night and have heard nothing and if it had its not be added to the database yet
that is a VHF cross patch, and station W does not always have it up, they only use it when there are big incidents, Waterfords system is somewhat outdated and will join the state system at some point
East Lyme Fire remains on VHF, as does East Lyme Police. ELPD is being simulcast on CLMRN, Fire is not. East Lyme Fire's mobiles and portables are not CLMRM capable, and I am hearing them 5x5 in Niantic.
I stand corrected, I heard ELPD just fine on the VHF, They sound better on the state system then the simulcast on the waterford system, Is the idea to keep it as a simulcast or does the town eventually have plans to upgrade radios and such?

Station W switches the East Lyme patch on as needed. Sometimes it is on for days, sometimes it is off for days, but it is a patch between East Lyme VHF and Waterford's P25 Phase I trunking system. East Lyme will be migrating to The State's CLMRN at some point, although that point in time is unknown at this time. East Lyme will not be migrating to the Waterford system, as Waterford and New London will be migrating to CLMRN at some point in time ... again ... what that point in time is, is not known at this time.
