I assume he means Maroon low band (42.92) is being patched to EBRCS TG 919.

@daniel18522 is it full-time or part-time? And is it on any specific site(s)?

Yes, 42.92 to EBRCS TG 919. Only heard a few transmissions from 4:00 to 5:00 on CCCO Central. After around 5 the patch stopped. I'm not aware of any CRIS CHP channels in the Bay area yet. May have to start monitoring that since most everything here is E now.

Oakland Housing Authority PD and Ohlone Community College District PD are still clear, as well as the ACSO court security talkgroups.
I do believe that the Oakland Housing Authority has gone encrypted. I am using a TRX SCANNER and every time I come upon an encrypted station it gives me the telephone sound and I immediately go and lock it out. This is BI do believe that the Oakland Housing Authority has gone encrypted. I am using a TRX SCANNER and every time I come upon a encrypted station it gives me the telephone sound and I immediately go and lock it out. This is BS that directive back in 2020 is just totally out of bounds And there should’ve been some wiggle room somewhere.

Why not and where can we discuss it freely and openly and talk about legislation

This encryption thread has been running since 2011, it's where you can freely and openly talk about encryption and legislation pertaining to it:

Berkeley passed allowing encryption. Huge support for non-encryption by speakers at the meeting tonight. Some louder than others.

They are working on a near "real-time" crime log to take its place. I don't like that but it's better than nothing, they seemed to not like the idea of the delayed broadcastify stream for the DOJ personal information reasons. They also claimed the same excuse for the media having radios.

The real-time log will have cross streets and pull from the CAD, but will have filters for sensitive information. (I am thinking this will be like a stripped-down version of CHP's system with a slight delay.)
