I am picking up transmissions on TG 2105 on both the NW and SW cells. Sounds like Berkeley FD 1 and transmissions match those on 154.19 CTCSS 131.8.

CC Central and East have been alive with 7815 and 7816. It appears to be a community college PD or something school related. Dispatch is "control" and I frequently hear a "T1" like "tee one".

I was thinking that as I don't know who else. I've yet to hear any locations just vague names like "gym", "library", etc. It's definitely a Comm College. The folks don't have the most formal radio etiquette! Control called one person and he goes, "What?!"
I've heard other callsigns like X## or maybe a Y##?
if I remember right, 80s were Los Medanos, 70s were Diablo Valley. did you hear any of the numbers that high? I haven't been listening.
Last night, April 6th, I noticed San Leandro PD was on EBRCS SW cell with TG 3555. However, by this morning, they are back on the old system again with TG 32016. Are they testing out EBRCS during the overnight hours and switching back during the day? Seems like this is the second weekend in row that has happened.
I'm pretty sure it's them. I locked them out. I do recall hearing X80.
There's been a lot of coverage testing for an FD on the 6405+ TG's. My wildazz guess is it's SRV's assigned talkgroups.
Did people get bored with the system? Stuff's still going on but not much here.

And geez is the coverage testing on 64xx mind numbingly boring! I don't think I have the patience to listen to what I've recorded. I'm sure the channel assignments will hit us anyway considering it's an FD.

The Walnut Creek site was originally going to be located at 225 Sydney Drive, but was replaced by the BART property located at 2576 Camino Diablo. Now it looks like the residents are complaining.

Last week there was a fire on the hillside in Claremont Canyon, just up the hill from where I live. The analog dispatch frequency was used normally 154.19. The fire ground frequency (ch 2) was not on the usual 154.43. When dispatched I think they called for fire tac 41. I assume this is all consistent with switching to EBRCS.

Something odd has happened.
On CCCO Central - 772.35625 - what was once one of the primary voice channels (the cell has statistically favored 4 channels for voice) now has what sounds like a control channel hanging on it. I have over 255,000 voice hits on this frequency.
pro96com no longer advertises the frequency.
I added 772.35625 as a control channel into a Pro 197. The 197 doesn't recognize it as a CC for this system. As a conventional frequency there is no NAC displayed... I tried it as a MOT... nothing.
It sounds different than a typical 9600 control channel...

you might want to clear out your site file first. didn't you have a problem before where you got a bad freq in there ?
the file doesn't re populate every time. if a bad freq is in there, you must remove it or it will keep showing up.
I did clear the log (the whole folder actually). That's when I saw that those three channels were no longer advertised. My issue wasn't with pro96com so much.
My issue was at 0500 this morning, one of my scanners stopped on that frequency (I was scanning it conventionally previously for different reasons in the past - it was still programmed in).
It had been hanging there all day... a steady digital carrier with no NAC.. no SysID... nothing I could distinguish with the brief checking I did.
It is now gone... as of 10 minutes ago.
pro96com is now advertising the three channels which had previously stopped.
I dunno... forget it.

It could have been a test signal for coverage testing. They sound a lot like a CC, but the scanner won't recognize it. They can also cause the scanner to do weird things while tracking the system.
