THIS system?

I don't think Whistlers can do digital (Provoice?) EDACS.

EDIT: Ah, that might be related to legacy EDACS digital (AEGIS?):

I think, in order to hear this, you must have it selected.........?.....

That setting will have the scanner tune to ProVoice transmissions. You would still need something like DSD to do the actual decoding of the voice data since these scanners do not do ProVoice. If you're not doing that, then leave it off.
